  1. For a new member what is a Gilbert Centurion? What membership benefits does it include, or does it? Could the levels of membership be better defined on the website for the future. Thanks look forward a resppnse

  2. The Gilbert Centurions (“Centum” in Latin = 100) is a group of ACGHS members who generously donate $100 above the regular dues rate. This extra revenue allows the club to keep the required dues and convention rates low and fund many other beneficial projects. The Centurions do not enjoy any special membership benefits.

  3. Hi all, I am needing a P-52 ladder chain to use on the Gilbert Ferris Wheel built from the 8-1/2 set. The Wheel is to go on our AF S gauge layout that is part of our 2,000 sq ft holiday display at Union Station Kansas City, America’s second-largest rail terminal. Work is all done by volunteers, and we start in September. The original belt that came with one of our member’s sets is worn out. We thought if we used a geared setup, it would be more reliable for a public display that is up from Thanksgiving through New Year’s. The entire display is motion-sensor activated, so nothing runs all the time. Perhaps we could resort to the original belt and V-pulleys if we could find a repro. Any suggestions to where we could find either the P-52 chain, or replacement pulleys would be greately apreciated 🙂 royphoto41@everestkc.net
