Collector of like new and mint unused erector sets of all brands from the 1940s and 50s. My original set was red metal box 6 1/2. Loved those pics in the back of the manual. The idea that I might ever own a 10 1/2, let alone a 12 1/2, seemed as remote as a man walking on the moon, which of course the happened a few years after I got my set. But it took about 50 years before I got my larger sets. Most of my career was in the investment world at Fidelity Investments. Retired now, I can focus on more important things, like searching for unused examples of all major variations of the 12 1/2.
